Terms of service

beatmyquiz (“we”, “us”) lets people write quizzes, take quizzes, and share result cards. By using the site you agree to these terms. Taking a quiz never requires an account.

1. Your content

  • You keep ownership of quizzes you write. You give us a licence to host, display, cache, and share them (including result cards and directory listings) so the service can work.
  • You are responsible for your quiz content: questions, options, result titles, and jokes.
  • Only publish handles you have the right to use. Do not impersonate another person or brand. If your handle is being impersonated, report it here.

2. Content standards

Do not publish quizzes that:

  • harass, threaten, or target a real person or a protected group;
  • are sexual, or involve minors in any sexualised way;
  • infringe copyright or other rights you do not own;
  • are spam, scams, malware links, or bulk SEO content;
  • encourage self-harm or illegal behaviour.

AI-generated drafts are suggestions. You must review every question before publishing — you, not the model, are the publisher.

3. Moderation

  • Anyone can report a quiz from its page. We may unpublish, de-list, or feature content at our discretion.
  • Repeat or serious violations may lose publishing or Pro access without a refund for the current period, except where the law says otherwise.
  • Copyright owners: report via the quiz page (choose “Copyright”) or email us, identifying the work and the quiz URL.

4. Pro billing

  • Pro is a monthly subscription at the price shown on the Pro page, processed by Creem. It renews until cancelled.
  • Refunds: the money-back period shown on the Pro page applies from each payment. Contact the refund address shown there; refunds are issued through Creem.
  • To stop renewing, cancel with Creem or email us before the next renewal date. Pro features (email capture, higher AI limits, stats) stop when the paid period ends or a payment is refunded/charged back.
  • Emails you collect through Pro quizzes are yours to use lawfully: only mail people who opted in, identify yourself, and honour unsubscribes. We provide an unsubscribe link in new-quiz notifications we send on your behalf.

5. The service

  • We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Published quiz links and share codes may stop working if content is removed or the service ends.
  • The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for how third parties use emails or content shared with them.
  • You must be at least 13 (or your country’s minimum age) to publish or buy Pro.

6. Changes & contact
